Antifibrinolytic / melasma

Tranexamic acid (Transamin, Transino)

Tranexamic acid · トランサミン

Tranexamic acid is prescribed in Japan for heavy bleeding and sore throat, and, unusually, is sold over the counter as Transino II for melasma (facial pigmentation). Visitors from Asia often buy Transino as a souvenir; anyone with a history of blood clots should not take it.
