Clonazepam (Rivotril, Landsen) is approved in Japan for epilepsy and is also used off-label for panic and restless legs. As a controlled psychotropic it follows the 1-month, within-limit import rule. Japanese neurologists and psychiatrists prescribe it routinely, in 0.5, 1 and 2 mg tablets.
