カルプロニウム塩化物外用液5%

Carpronium chloride (topical)
Carpronium is a Japan-only hair growth ingredient that has been sold as Karoyan since 1973. It increases scalp blood flow and is milder than minoxidil, with no equivalent abroad. For male pattern hair loss, minoxidil, finasteride and dutasteride have far stronger evidence.
Karoyan products (1–2% carpronium) are OTC Class 3; the 5% prescription lotion Frojin is used by dermatologists for alopecia areata.
