Hirudoid, a heparinoid cream, is famous in Japan as a prescription moisturizer and became a tourist favorite for dry skin. Because of overuse as a cosmetic, insurance now expects a medical reason; the OTC versions Hirumild and Piasson HP are the same strength and easy to buy.
