Prednisolone
Prednisolone (Predonine, 1 mg and 5 mg tablets) is Japan's standard oral steroid; the prednisone tablets used in the US are not sold, but the two are interchangeable milligram for milligram. Travelers on long-term steroids should never stop suddenly, so bring enough and carry a doctor's letter.
