Japanese encephalitis vaccine (inactivated, Vero cell)

Japanese encephalitis vaccination is routine for children in Japan, and a few cases still occur each year in rural western Japan in late summer. Long-term residents of rural areas and travelers heading on to Southeast Asia can be vaccinated at travel clinics; the domestic vaccine is about half the price of Ixiaro.
