Hangekobokuto (Kampo extract)
Hangekobokuto is prescribed for anxiety with a feeling of something stuck in the throat, nervous stomach, and mild depression, and in geriatrics to reduce aspiration. It is not a controlled substance and has no sedative effect, so it is often tried before conventional anxiolytics.
