Fluconazole capsules (50 and 100 mg) are prescription-only in Japan and, unusually, the single 150 mg dose for vaginal thrush is not a listed product; gynecologists prescribe vaginal antifungal tablets instead. OTC vaginal clotrimazole is available for recurrences already diagnosed by a doctor.
