Atomoxetine is the non-stimulant ADHD medicine and the easiest ADHD drug to manage in Japan: it is not a controlled substance, any psychiatrist can prescribe it for adults and children, and dozens of generics exist. For visitors who cannot bring Adderall, it is the usual alternative to discuss with a doctor.
