Cetirizine (Zyrtec)

Cetirizine hydrochloride · ジルテック

Cetirizine is available in Japan both on prescription (Zyrtec, 5 and 10 mg) and over the counter in 10 mg tablets. It works well for hay fever and hives but can cause drowsiness, and Japanese labels advise against driving; fexofenadine or loratadine are the non-drowsy alternatives sold in the same aisle.
